Pierre Ménès, the sad message

Pierre Ménès posted a message this Sunday in memory of Thierry Roland, who died on June 16, 2012 following a stroke.

Far from the mainstream media since the end of his adventure at
Canal Football ClubPierre Ménès remains active with his community through his channel YouTube and social networks. The journalist therefore continues to deliver his opinion on sports news every week, depending on events. He also does not hesitate to discuss the subjects that are close to his heart. This Sunday, he had a thought for Thierry Roland.

If the under-twenties did not experience the great era of the duo formed by Thierry Roland and Jean-Michel Larqué, who officiated (in particular) at each Blues match on TF1, Pierre Ménès, for his part, was at the heart of the machine. Or at least he had the opportunity to bond with the former commentator. It is therefore logical that he wanted to wink at him on June 16, the anniversary of the sudden disappearance of Thierry Roland, victim of a stroke in 2012.

“12 years Thierry…”

« 12 years old Thierry… », Wrote Pierre Ménès in a message posted on his social networks, with a photo in which he appears alongside Thierry Roland, but also Dominique Grimault and Estelle Denis. A thought that made his journalist colleague react, who commented: “ P.. of memory.
», all accompanied by a heart. The former partner of Raymond Domenech who has been on the air for several years
RMCdid not react.

This moment of nostalgia does not prevent Pierre Ménès from being in front of his screen to follow Euro 2024 which began on Friday and in which France will participate on Monday, with a first group match against Austria (9 p.m.). Grégoire Margotton and Bixente Lizarazu, successors of the Roland-Larqué duo (without forgetting the late Thierry Gilardi, or even Christian Jeanpierre), will be in the comments.
