Laurent Luyat, it’s serious with his new partner!

On the front line as the Olympic Games approach, Laurent Luyat will be part of France Télévisions for the arrival of the Olympic flame in Marseille this Wednesday. With once again Laury Thilleman to accompany him.

The Olympic Games will only start in two and a half months. But this May 8 marks a first crucial meeting in these Olympics: the Olympic flame is in fact expected in the evening in Marseille, the starting point of its journey through France which will bring it to Paris, where it will set the cauldron ablaze Olympic on July 26.

The event is such that France Télévisions has decided to pull out all the stops since all the day’s newspapers have been relocated to Marseille, from Télématin, presented by Thomas Sotto and Marie Portolano to 8 p.m. by Anne-Sophie Lapix. Above all, Julian Bugier will host a marathon of live broadcasts with at 9:30 a.m., comments on the traditional military ceremony of May 8, at 1 p.m., an extended edition of his news and in the afternoon, a special broadcast for the arrival of the flame in the Phocaean city.

A new show next Friday

In the evening, what France Télévisions presents as “the high point of this mobilization” will follow: an exceptional evening mixing music and sport, live and in public from the Old Port of Marseille. And to present the event, France 2 called on Laurent Luyat and Laury Thilleman. A duo now experienced in the exercise.

Last summer, Laurent Luyat and Laury Thilleman were in fact already at the presentation of the concert event organized on the square in front of the Town Hall one year before the launch of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris and the tandem also officiated on December 31 last alongside Stéphane Bern on the occasion of the exceptional evening organized for New Year’s Eve.

The duo works so well that it was also requisitioned for the presentation of a new event on France 3: The great concert of the regions, the first edition of which, recorded in Aix-en-Provence, will be broadcast on May 17 next.
