The two lucky winners are none other than Dani Pedrosa but also Pol Espargaro, now 32 years old. The two men will start, as a wild card, at Jerez for one, in San Marino, at Mugello, for the second.

For Pedrosa, now 38 years old, this will not be a great first as he is preparing to compete in his fourth race under these same colors, since his retirement in 2018. last year, the Spaniard was part of the celebration, at Jerez, with a sixth place in the sprint then a seventh at the Grand Prix, as well as in San Marino, where the driver finished at fourth place in the sprint but also in the Grand Prix.

Between Friday April 26 and Sunday April 28, KTM will therefore be represented by a total of three motorcycles, as part of the Spanish Grand Prix, before doing it again for that of San Marino, scheduled between Friday May 31 and Sunday June 2 next. News which inevitably delighted the main stakeholders, who expressed themselves in the KTM press release, such as Dani Pedrosa: “I had a lot of fun at Jerez last year and the reception from the fans was incredible. We all know Jerez is a special place. For us it will also be important to use benchmarks for our testing and put it back into the racing environment. This is the main reason to compete in 2024 and I hope we can achieve it for the first time next month. »
