Ferrari, the double in Australia!

Well helped by the early retirement of Max Verstappen, the Ferraris achieved a nice double at the Australian Grand Prix with the victory of Carlos Sainz Jr ahead of Charles Leclerc. No miracle, however, for the Alpine, who finished outside the points.

Misfortunes sometimes happen to Max Verstappen, so it’s better to take advantage of them. While the Dutchman was forced to retire on the 4th lap, it was Ferrari which triumphed during the Australian Grand Prix this Sunday morning, with the victory of Carlos Sainz Jr ahead of his teammate Charles Leclerc.

Verstappen, however, remained on a series of nine consecutive victories, counting the first two Grand Prix of the season. But the three-time reigning world champion was hampered by a brake problem from the start of the race, and he did not return to the track after his pit stop on the 4th lap. Starting on the front row alongside “Mad Max”, Sainz, who had already been the only non-Red Bull driver to win last season in Singapore, did not miss the opportunity to take advantage of it.
