The news is good for Sébastien Bourdais. Le Manceau will take part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans before getting back behind the wheel of an Indycar.

The smile is back for Sébastien Bourdais. Doubly so. He loves competing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and will team up this week with Olivier Pla and Jules Gounon at the wheel of a Ferrari 488 GTE Pro. Beyond the Le Mans event, his program has increased considerably since he has confirmed his return to Indycar with the Foyt team.

Bourdais will indeed regain control from the first weekend of October in Indianapolis before the final round in St Petersburg. Two rounds this season which will allow him to best prepare for the following season.

“It’s incredible because I have patiently waited without racing until now and now I am guaranteed to return to the IndyCar championship in 2021. I will already compete in the last three races this year to better prepare for next season,” he explained for F11.com.
