Bastianini and Vinales will join KTM

The KTM team has announced the signing of Enea Bastianini and Maverick Vinales for next season, from Ducati and Aprilia respectively.

The game of musical chairs continues in MotoGP. The Ducati team, the strongest in the paddock currently, has decided to blow everything up next season, by bringing Marc Marquez from the satellite team Gresini alongside double world champion Francesco Bagnaia, and letting Jorge Martin go , the current championship leader and member of the other satellite team, Pramac, at Aprilia. Enea Bastianini, Bagnaia’s current teammate at Ducati, therefore had to look for a new team for 2025, and it is Gasgas Tech 3, the French satellite team of KTM, which will welcome him there. next year, along with Maverick Vinales, who is racing this season for Aprilia.

We will continue to attack for the rest of the 2024 season and look forward to this new start for next year,” said Pit Beirer, KTM motorsport director. Enea Bastiani (26 years old, five MotoGP victories) and Maverick Vinales (29 years old, ten MotoGP victories) will replace at Tech 3 the rookie Pedro Acosta, who will join the KTM factory team, and Augusto Fernandez, who will not still has no handlebars for 2025.
